Held in an exceptional setting in Charlevoix and in North Hatley, our two Retirement Experience Weekend events aimed to help participants build a retirement that fits them. As soon as they arrived, the warm welcome and the tasting dinner set the tone and enhanced the conviviality.
In addition to the different workshops – psychosocial aspect; income; decumulation; investments; taxation; insurance; legal, matrimonial and estate aspects –, the 2018 edition had something new: a retirement experience panel comprising experts from the Financial, Sogemec Assurances and MultiD.
Brief eco note: no paper this year. All the info was available in the PARTICIPANT area of the Financial’s website.
The result was 53 well-informed future retirees who, in our satisfaction survey, called the experience “enriching,” “dynamic,” “interesting” and “reassuring.”
