Gilles P. Grenier sits on the boards of directors of Professionals’ Financial, Professionals’ Financial – Mutual Funds and Professionals’ Financial – Private Management.
Holder of a Business Administration degree with a major in finance from HEC Montréal, Mr. Grenier began his career in corporate finance in the banking and cooperative sectors, first with the Mercantile Bank and then with Investissement Desjardins.
In 1984, he joined Sodarcan Group as Chief Financial Officer and sat on the boards of directors of the Group’s main subsidiaries, Dale-Parizeau and MLH+A. He took the directors education program at the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario.
Since leaving his corporate positions more than 20 years ago, Mr. Grenier has been a member of several boards of directors and various pension, investment, audit and governance committees. In this capacity, he has dealt with a variety of issues for different companies and organizations, including Armstrong Canada, École Polytechnique, Goodyear Canada, Groupe TVA, Novartis, Ultra Electronics TCS, Société de transport de Montréal and Vidéotron.
