Exclusively for medical student members of the Fédération étudiante médicale du Québec (FMEQ), the program is offered by Professionals’ Financial in partnership with Sogemec Assurances.
A first edition
For the first time, four new $500 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in one of the four faculties of medicine of the Université de Montréal, McGill University, Université Laval and the Université de Sherbrooke. The initiative aims to encourage students to get involved in their community and to recognize their community involvement in different areas: health promotion, social justice, environment, etc.
A new tradition
The Financial believes in excellence and, since 2006, has demonstrated its continued support for the succession of its professional association shareholders through its scholarship program. With the FMEQ community involvement scholarships, this now brings to 20 the total number of scholarships awarded annually by Professionals’ Financial.
Important dates
The application period began in February and ends at midnight on March 31. The first four winners will be announced in late April on our social media. [Regulations and information in French only]
