Professionals\u2019 Financial – Mutual Funds Inc. announces unitholder approval of fund merger<\/h4>\n

Montr\u00e9al, August 27, 2018<\/strong> \u2013 Professionals\u2019 Financial – Mutual Funds Inc., as investment fund manager of the FDP US Dividend Equity<\/a> Portfolio (the \u201cUS Dividend Fund\u201d) and the FDP US Index Equity<\/a> Portfolio (the \u201cUS Index Fund\u201d), announces that unitholders voted to approve the proposed merger of these two funds scheduled to take place on or about August 31, 2018 (the \u201cMerger Date\u201d).<\/p>\n

The US Dividend Fund is capped to new investors. Its units are no longer available for purchase, with the exception of purchases made under periodic investment plans already in place. These periodic investment plans will continue uninterrupted, up to and including the business day prior to the Merger Date, being August 30, 2018. The periodic investment plans will automatically transfer to the US Index Fund after the Merger Date.<\/p>\n

Unitholders of the US Dividend Fund will be able to redeem or switch units until the close of business on August 30, 2018.<\/p>\n

On our about the Merger Date, all holders of units in the US Dividend Fund will receive units of the equivalent series of the US Index Fund and the US Index Fund will be renamed \u201cFDP US Equity Portfolio\u201d.<\/p>\n
