Patrick Duchesne sits on the boards of directors of Professionals’ Financial – Private Management.
As Vice-President, Finance and Operations, Patrick Duchesne is responsible for finance, accounting and risk management as well as for operational efficiency, quality control, process optimization, performance measures and business continuity, in order to help fdp achieve its objectives and improve the customer experience. In fact, he sits on the firm’s management committee.
Mr. Duchesne has worked in the field of finance and operations since 1995, and has held high-level positions in various major organizations in the asset and wealth management sector.
A chartered professional accountant (CPA), Mr. Duchesne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (B.A.A.) from Université Laval. In addition, he has completed many advanced training courses and certifications recognized in Canada and internationally throughout his career. He has obtained the Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute designation (FCSI®). He also holds the dual designation C.Dir. (Chartered Director) from the Directors college and the ASC (Administrateur de sociétés certifiés) from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, and is a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).
