The Association des Architectes en pratique privée du Québec is a professional union grouping together some 400 architect offices of all sizes. The AAPPQ defends the interests of architect offices in Québec with the government and with their clients. It seeks to enhance the role of architects who, by ensuring the quality of the built environment, play an active role in the economic, social and cultural development of Québec society.
As such, it acts as a representative and negotiating body with different ministries, cities and municipalities. It documents the profession of architecture and promotes the role and expertise of architects.
It establishes lasting and constructive relationships with other industry stakeholders and offers architect offices concrete tools for the optimal practice of their profession.
