From 1999 to 2006, Mr. Gauvin-Brodeur was employed full- and part-time by Jean Damecour Architecte, starting his career before completing his professional studies. From 2006 to 2012, he was employed by Lemay Associates Architects and was part of the institutional team, working exclusively on renovation projects for existing buildings for public clients. Since 2012, he has been a partner shareholder at Leclerc Architects.
Since 2011, he has also been a regular member of the CCU (Urban Planning Advisory Committee) for the Rosemont–Petite-Patrie area in Montreal. Since 2011, he has devoted his professional practice exclusively to educational projects.
He has worked continuously on both institutional and public projects since 2006. He specializes in renovating existing buildings, expansions, and providing technical expertise. He has been a project manager since 2010. Having participated in more than twenty major PFTs, as well as an equal number of technical studies and preliminary projects, he uses his collaborative skills to develop different options with stakeholders and his analytical skills to present clear recommendations.
As a skilled communicator, he leads and presents solutions to stakeholders, encouraging them to participate in the development process.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from La Cambre – École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de Bruxelles (2003), a Bachelor of Architecture from Laval University (2006), and a Master of Architecture from the University of Montreal (2008).
