With nearly ten years of experience as a paramedic and manager, Mathieu Gauthier-Tremblay shifted his focus to finance in 2021, with a major Quebec financial institution. He joined fdp Private Management in June 2022 as an advisor, before accepting a short-term consulting assignment in 2025 with a clientele consisting mainly of healthcare professionals. He then rejoined the firm in 2025 as a wealth management advisor.
Mathieu uses his interpersonal skills and his extensive financial knowledge to assist his clients in all areas of financial planning, helping them to achieve their goals. He stands out for his empathy, his educational approach, and his ability to anticipate and identify needs, offering personalized solutions that promote client satisfaction and trust.
Currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Université de Sherbrooke, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in theology (Université Laval, 2018), a Bachelor’s degree in business administration (ESG-UQAM, 2021), and a financial planning certificate (ESG-UQAM, 2021). He also holds the financial planner designation from the Institut de planification financière (IPF).
