When a person dies, their bills and debts do not disappear; they become part of the estate.

In an article by Emmanuelle Gril in Le Journal de Montréal, Catherine Cloutier, Practice Leader, Notary, notes that the estate liquidator is responsible for administering the estate. The liquidator must faithfully carry out the various steps of the estate settlement. Rushing through the process could have costly consequences.
