For its third edition, the New Practice Weekend chose Le Baluchon Eco Resort, a lovely inn located in Saint-Paulin in the Mauricie region. From November 16 to 18, 2018, some 26 participants (along with 9 children!) gathered for a weekend of workshops, discussions, locally sourced meals and pleasant exchanges.
To enable the parents to fully benefit from the workshops, the children were cared for in a daycare right on the premises, in a play area just for them.
Informing and advising
Throughout the weekend, a variety of workshops on accounting management, the principles of incorporation, simplified medical billing and many other subjects gave the medical residents and young entrepreneurs an overview of the different financial aspects of their practice, as well as advice on organizing their career and managing their wealth.
The participants left on Sunday afternoon well equipped and more aware of the choices they will have to make in their everyday professional and personal lives. A highly instructive, cordial and enriching weekend for all!
